A different kind of
advisory relationship.

I created PinchPoint Strategies because I kept watching organizations solve the wrong problem. Significant time, budget, and leadership attention directed at symptoms — while the underlying barriers stayed exactly where they were.

The pattern is consistent enough that it stopped surprising me. A training request masking a process issue. A process issue rooted in unclear ownership. A capability gap that turns out to be an operating model problem. By the time the symptoms are visible, the actual cause is buried under layers of decisions, assumptions, and accumulated organizational complexity.

Most organizations know something isn't working. The friction is real. It's hard to see the problem clearly when you're standing inside it.

That's the problem I built this practice to solve.

The most useful conversations I have with clients are rarely comfortable. They involve naming what's not working, questioning assumptions that have been in place for years, and sometimes delivering a diagnosis that contradicts what leadership has already decided.

That kind of honesty is hard to come by inside an organization. Hierarchy gets in the way. Political capital gets in the way. The desire to protect relationships gets in the way.

Working as an independent advisor changes that dynamic entirely. I'm not managing my way up your org chart. I have no stake in your internal politics. What I do have is a strong point of view, a willingness to say the difficult thing, and enough experience inside complex organizations to know the difference between a structural problem and a people problem.

"The goal is never to create dependency. Every engagement is designed to build your capability to see the problem, not just rely on me to see it for you."

I work best with leaders who are intellectually honest, resilient under pressure, and more interested in solving the problem than protecting the diagnosis. If you're looking for someone to validate a decision you've already made, I'm probably not the right fit.

If you're willing to examine the problem from the ground up, I can be a genuinely useful thought partner.

Saman's work spans some of the most demanding organizational environments in enterprise technology.

Google Cloud

Designed and scaled a learning portfolio aimed at making AI and ML accessible to business professionals: leaders driving organizational transformation who needed enablement that met them where they were, without requiring a technical background. Several of those courses remain on Coursera today and continue to reach learners globally.

Waymo

Built and stood up a net-new enablement function inside a highly complex engineering operations organization, navigating the political and structural challenges of establishing a horizontal capability where none previously existed.
